For today's cooking session, we made cheese scones. With the help of Mrs Rushbrooke, we put flour, margarine, cheese and a little bit of salt and milk into a bowl and made a dough.
We then each had a piece of dough to roll out and used a round cutter to cut out the scone shape.
Lastly we brushed the scones with a little bit of milk so that they turned a golden brown colour when they were cooked......and then into the oven they went!
The classroom smelt delicious and some of the scones were still a little warm when we took them home!
