The day the Reception children had been counting down to was finally here, and what an exciting, fun-filled and rather warm day we had at Colchester Zoo!
After excitedly boarding the coach, spotting all the trademark brown Elephant road signs and the classic lines of "are we nearly there yet?"......we had arrived at the zoo.
We were all lucky enough to see many different animals....many of which were having a lay down in the sun!
The Children behaved brilliantly around the zoo and were very polite to both our coach driver and other members of the public! Well done class Hughes!
Thank you very much to Holly's Dad, Lucas' Mum, Cory's Mum, Joshua's Mum, Logan's Mum. Rafael & Jasper's Mum and Alex for helping us on our visit today. Thank you also to Mrs Rushbrooke, Mrs Wray and Miss Boggis.
I think both the children and adults will sleep well tonight ( a couple of children even fell asleep on the coach journey home!)
