Just to say ....HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome back! The children have already settled back in to school life well and are eager to learn. As you may of seen in the paperwork sent home just before the holidays, our topic this term is TOYS.
Over the next few weeks we will be looking at and discussing old and new toys, and encourporating the topic within areas of our learning.
Later on in the term we will be visiting Christchurch mansion to look at the old toys they have on display, we have a Carpenter coming in to visit us to show us and speak to us about how toys can be made from wood.
We would also really like a parent or grandparent to come in to speak to us about the toys they used to play with. So....If you know of a family member or would like to come in and speak to us...please speak to myself or Mrs Cumming.
