Today, we had 4 Paramedics (James, Gavin, Liam and Ali) come to visit us as part of our 'People who help us' topic. They spoke to us about how they look after people who have hurt themselves or are poorly, and the different equipment they use. They told us the number we need to call if we need an ambulance and what we need to tell the person on the phone. They told us we would need to tell them where we live, so they set each of us a challenge to find out the name of the street we live on and our house number!
We got to try on some of the Paramedics uniform, be bandaged up and even have a go with some of their equipment. The Paramedics even bought along not 1 but TWO of their special emergency vehicles with them. We got to have a look inside both the Ambulance and the Fast response car - it was very exciting, and they even put the flashing blue lights and siren on for us! We had LOTS of fun and would like to say a big THANK-YOU to James, Gavin, Liam, Ali and Matthew's mummy Sarah, who is also a Paramedic and came along too.
