We thought her coat felt quite soft and rather thick. Her mane was very thick and fluffy too, and Lucy told us that her thick coat keeps her warm.
Lucy and Will also told us lots of interesting things about Marley, from how they take care of her by giving her a wash with a hose and brushing her coat, to how the Farrier makes Marley's shoes and how they need to be changed every 6 weeks!
We were also given the chance to ask Lucy and Will some questions, and we asked some really super ones, such as:
"Do you have to cut his mane?"
"Can his shoes be different colours?"
"How do you wash him?"
"Do you have to brush his teeth?
"Can you ride him"
"Does he jump over fences?"
Once it was time for Marley, Lucy and Will to go, we waved them off, and all the adults said how well we listened and behaved.
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to Lucy and Will for bringing Marley in to see us, and to Mrs Stagg for organising the visit!
