So today was our 'Red, White and Blue' day to celebrate 100 years since the end of the First World War.
We all looked great in our red, white and blue clothes!
This week we have been busy learning 2 wartime songs - 'Its a long way to Tipperary' and 'Pack up your troubles' , making 'Boiled cakes' using a war time recipe, and making hats, flags and bunting to have at our street party- and today we got to put it all to good use.
With our hats on our heads and waving our flags, each class walked out to our 'street party' singing the songs we had learnt.
We than sat down amongst the bunting to enjoy our cakes and yummy treats!
