The children have had lots of fun exploring the X-rays on our light box, building a body puzzle and putting together a giant skeleton picture. We have also begun making our own skeleton pictures with art straws based on ‘Funny Bones’.
We learnt that the human body has around 206 bones. (It can vary!). We felt our ribs and our back bones and talked about why the skull is so important! We also looked at pictures of the human brain and decided that it looked a bit yucky, even though it is so important because it controls our body.
What super learning!
