This week we have started learning our sounds.So far we have learnt s, a and t. For each letter we learn, we say the sound it makes, along with an action and say what the letter's name is. We have also learnt what a phoneme is (the sound a letter makes), and have been looking at the sounds in our names.

Today, we had our individual and sibling photographs taken in the school hall. During the morning register, Miss Rushbrooke asked us to show her our best smile, and just before we went into the hall, Mrs Rushbrooke and Miss Reynolds made sure that we were looking super smart, ready for our photograph to be taken. We stayed in our line order, waited SO patiently for our turn and listened carefully to the photographer. The photographer even told us how impressed she was with our good listening and fantastic behaviour!
