Firstly, I would like to welcome you back to school, I hope you all had a lovely (and well deserved) half term break!
It was lovely to meet with so many of you at Parents Evening just before we broke up. It was such a pleasure to be able to discuss and share with each of you, just how well your child is doing and how much progress they have made since September. It was also great and very encouraging to hear what you have been doing at home to carry on this progress and support your child in their learning!
This coming Friday (24th) is our first class visit to Christchurch Mansion. As you may of seen, on the last day before we broke up, I put a list up of the parent helpers who will be accompanying us. Again, many thanks for all your kind offers.
The children will need to bring a packed lunch (free school packed lunches provided for those who have requested one) and enough drink for the day (no fizzy drinks please).
Children can wear their own clothes but MUST wear a SCHOOL JUMPER OR CARDIGAN please. They will also need a coat or waterproof.
*Parents who are accompanying us on the trip, on Friday please come into school with your child. Once all the children are in, Myself or Mrs Cumming will run through what will be happening during the day*.
I would also like to update you about Mrs Rushbrooke. Due to a set back during half term, Mrs Rushbrooke will unfortunately not be returning to school as soon as we hoped. She is doing well, but is now going to need further recovery and healing time.
Again, thank you for your continued support and understanding towards both Mrs Rushbrooke and myself
