To begin with, we thought about how our eyes help us, how we rest them and how lucky we are to be able see such wonderful things. We also had a little think about the less fortunate people who are unable to see, and talked about how we would feel if we were unable to see.
We then turned to our talk partners to look at the colour of each others eyes. We then created a bar graph on our smartboard to show who had blue, brown and green eyes. We found out that 13 children had blue eyes, 7 had brown eyes and 4 had green eyes.
We then had a go at writing a sentence about what colour eyes we had in our Literacy books and colouring in a picture of eyes the correct colour.
