We have been practicing for our Bananagrams Competition in a few weeks time by having some mini competitions this week. The winners will be playing each other to see who is our overall Bananagrams expert so far.... This will all help towards getting ready for the real competition to find out who is our Top Banana 🍌 as well as helping improve our vocabulary and spelling skills. It is also great fun! Here are some of the winners! Good use of the perseverance gem!Today was a belated World Book Day for TSM (due to the snow last week). We all dressed up as our favourite book characters and in the afternoon Mandela and Branson classes got together to read to each other. Also we invited parents in to take part in a whole class guided reading lesson, where we introduced our parents to this term's class book 'The Boy in the Tower' by Polly Ho-Yen. Here are just a few of our fantastic costumes. Can you guess which stories these characters come from? Good use of the co-operation Gem! |
