Our classroom (where we have spent lots of time revising over the last few weeks) was left empty!

SATs week will commence on Monday 8th May. I am very pleased with the effort and focus the children have shown in their learning and I am confident that they are ready for the challenging weeks ahead. The children are aware that all I expect is for them to try their best. Please help them with this by making sure that they: * Get a good night sleep before each day. * Eat a good breakfast. * Have time to relax and recuperate each evening. Nerves are to be expected but I have reassured the children by explaining to them what will happen during SATs week and answering any questions or worries they might have. Here is the timetable to help them prepare: In the build up to SATs there has been an increase in homework but, the weekend before, they will be able to relax - homework free!
During SATs week I will be running a free Breakfast Club, where all children are welcome to have toast from 8.30am onwards to help them prepare for the busy day ahead. |
