Today, the other half of the class got the opportunity to follow very specific instructions in order to make a pencil holder on TinkerCAD. This group found a shortcut for make sure the shapes were the correct size, so had time to add items into their completed pencil holders too!

Before half term we had learnt about activities you might do on holiday. Today, we practised writing those phrases and then had some very fun games of pairs (trying to match up our written phrases with a picture of the activity). The children were really good at correctly matching them together. :) Good use of these learning gems:The children have been busy making prototypes of the bags they have designed. Each bag is completely individual and I am so pleased to see what they have already produced. The class have found this process so useful as they have discovered things they need to make sure to do when they make their final bag, meaning they are less likely to make mistakes during this process! Great use of these learning gems:Today we used our Editing Stations to improve our own work. We visited each station to help us improve the first draft of our chapters for our non-fiction books. It really made us think about our work and ways to improve it! Tomorrow we will start writing up or typing up our books in neat.
