Here are some of us preparing our props...
Since we've all been back at school, we have been working really hard to write a song including some of the things we need to remember when we are working with Fractions, Decimals and Percentages. First we looked at the number of syllables that were in the song we wanted to use - George Ezra's Shotgun - to help us make sure the lines we came up with would fit with the music. Then we started brainstorming things we know about Fractions, Decimals and Percentages and how we could make them into lines for the song. After we had written the song, we practiced a few times and then decided we should go a little further and create a music video to go along with our singing! We worked in groups to plan and create part of the music video. Here are some of us preparing our props... As you will see when you watch the video, some of us wanted to be on the camera and others were happy to be behind the camera! Then, after lots of editing, the song and its music video was ready for your viewing. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it. We will continue to use it is class to help us.
